It is a festival celebrated by the Ilocanos to remember their good times with their dearly departed. There is also some street dancing which has a Halloween theme to it and it happens at night. The dancers are usually carrying items which give of light in various colors and in various designs which complements with the view of the beautiful city of Vigan. Numerous sky lanterns are then released into the sky.
